Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is thrilled to welcome Epic Games, creator of the established, industry-leading game engine, Unreal Engine, as a Supporting Partner of SCREEN FOREVER (12 – 14 November, Melbourne). Known for pushing the limits of visual experiences, Unreal Engine offers a complete suite of creation tools designed to meet ambitious artistic visions while remaining flexible enough to ensure success for teams of all sizes.

As part of the partnership, the Unreal Engine team will be co-presenting a session with Film Victoria on the final day of the conference about virtual production. The session will cover how the use of real-time tools accelerates thetraditional linear pipeline, creating a parallel and collaborative processthat saves teams both time and money. The panel will also share how virtual production strongly impacts all stages of production, from previsualization to in-camera visual effects, and much more.

As emerging techniques such as virtual scouting and real-time motion capture (used recently in the critically acclaimed Welcome to Marwen) continue to change the creative landscape for film, broadcast and VFX studios, there has never been a more apt time to explore the creative possibilities of virtual production.

Unreal Engine will also be a partner of this year’s SPA Connect market. With almost AUD$100 million worth of deals done on the market floor every year, SPA Connect gives delegates the chance to launch and promote their brand and content to Australia’s top buyers, financiers and service providers via two specially curated market strands: Ready, Steady, Pitch! and Roundtables.

Join us for this exciting panel, and another busy round of doing business on the market floor, at SCREEN FOREVER. Secure your Gold Pass here.
